Andrew Chorlton

Andrew Chorlton, Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income

Andrew Chorlton joined M&G Investments in 2024 and is Chief Investment Officer for Fixed Income, reporting to Joseph Pinto. He leads M&G’s fixed income business, overseeing global strategies across government bonds, credit, multi‑sector portfolios and specialist client solutions.

With more than 25 years’ experience in fixed income markets and portfolio management, Andrew joined from Schroders, where he was Global Head of Fixed Income. In that role, he led international investment teams and developed capabilities across sustainability, quantitative credit, semi‑liquid credit, emerging markets debt and opportunistic strategies, including the launch of active ETFs in the US. Earlier in his career, Andrew held senior roles at AXA Investment Managers, Citigroup Asset Management and STW Fixed Income Management.
