Under the EU ESG Ratings Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2024/3005), effective from 2 July 2026, regulated firms become subject to the same transparency requirements as ESG rating providers when proprietary ESG ratings are incorporated into products and/or services and are referenced in marketing communications.
